This week I:<\/div>\n

  1. Said Mass daily for campers and staff<\/li>\n
  2. Heard a good number of informal, \u201cCould you please hear my confession father\u2026\u201d confessions. It\u2019s always a joy when a young person actually asks for confession.<\/li>\n
  3. Played Santa Claus in camp\u2019s Christmas in July celebration<\/li>\n
  4. Read lots of Flannery O\u2019Connor<\/li>\n
  5. Read a biography of St Maximillian Kolbe<\/li>\n
  6. Led Eucharistic Adoration for the camp staff<\/li>\n
  7. Went on a climbing expedition and climbed a wall<\/li>\n
  8. Went on an overnight camping expedition, with my son<\/li>\n
  9. Ate wild blueberries,\u00a0<\/li>\n
  10. Saw beautiful mountains<\/li>\n
  11. Got soaked when it rained at three in the morning<\/li>\n
  12. Got more soaked hiking back out of the woods<\/li>\n
  13. Swam in a lake<\/li>\n
  14. Played the Grail Knight (you have chosen wisely) in camp\u2019s \u2018Indiana Jones Quest\u2019<\/li>\n
  15. Counseled\u00a0a few folks with personal problems<\/li>\n
  16. Viewed a food fight<\/li>\n
  17. Said prayers for healing with a kid who came off his mountain bike and bit the dust\u2013literally. His face was messed up real bad and the doctors later in the week were amazed at how quick he was healing up.<\/li>\n
  18. Saw a gal get thrown into the lake<\/li>\n
  19. Took my daughter to Dolly\u2019s Dairy Bar for ice cream and a cream soda<\/li>\n
  20. Spoke to two Baptists and one Episcopalian who think Catholicism is the best and want to convert<\/li>\n
  21. Slept a lot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
