Back from the exuberance of the Chesterton Conference, I\u2019m banking up for our mission trip to El Salvador. We leave early on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

To tell you the truth, I haven\u2019t got much to say about the homosexual Anglican priests having a big fancy \u2018wedding\u2019 <\/a>in London. In many ways I suppose it\u2019s a positive step. At least they\u2019re being honest and open. It was all going on anyway with \u2018private ceremonies\u2019 and \u2018discreet blessing services\u2019. Now they\u2019re being just about as aggressive, arrogant and \u2018inyerface\u2019 now as they can possibly be, and everybody should realize that they should never have started appeasing these people in the first place. Basic rule from the Indiana Jones school of moral theology: \u201cDon\u2019t appease Nazis.\u201d<\/div>\n

Jeffrey Steel (an American Anglican priest who ministers in England) has thoughts about it here. <\/a>Jeffrey has a good blog that\u2019s worth checking if you\u2019re interested in how orthodox Anglicans are coping.<\/div>\n

Now Anglicans who actually wish to follow the historic Christian faith can start making their exit plans. I wish more would act on their words, \u201cOh, we\u2019re very Catholic you know\u2026\u201d and actually become Catholic, but alas, most of the Anglicans I know still have big problems with Peter the Rock. Sadly, he\u2019s not the stepping stone for them, but a stumbling block.<\/div>\n
