I was sitting in a room in Oxford at a conference when I heard John Saward mention the Little Way of St Therese. I had just been finishing my book on the Rule of St Benedict and remembered that he referred to his rule as a \u2018little rule for beginners. \u2018Little Rule\u2019 and \u2018Little Way\u2019 connected and I wondered if there might be a book to be written comparing the lives and teachings of two wonderful saints. LOOK!<\/strong><\/span> <\/u><\/span>I have been asked to lead a Benedict and Therese pilgrimage to France in the Spring. Would you like to come? We\u2019ll be visiting the Benedictine monasteries of Bec, Mt St Michel, St Anne Kergonan, Solesmes and St Benoit sur Loire (where Benedict\u2019s relics are venerated) We\u2019ll also be spending time in Lisieux and I\u2019ll be conducting retreat sessions on the two saints, saying Mass daily, and we\u2019ll have time to worship with the monks and learn more about the Little Way and the Little Rule.<\/span><\/div>\n
