\"\"<\/a>Did you know that David Suchet, who plays the detective Hercule Poirot, is a convert to Christianity? In this<\/a> interview he recounts his conversion:<\/p>\n

He was brought up a non-orthodox Jew but had been dabbling in new age philosophies. At the end of a day\u2019s filming, Suchet picked up the Bible in his hotel room and started to read St Paul\u2019s Letter to the Romans. (He has since made a television documentary about St Paul.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI read it as a letter than had just been sent to me through the post\u201d, he says. \u201c By the time I got to the end, I found a world view I had been looking for all my life; something I could hang onto. I don\u2019t have blind faith. If I were ever to write a book about my journey to faith the title would be \u2018Dragged Kicking and Screaming\u2019.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This reminds me of C.S.Lewis\u2019 famous line about being \u201cthe most reluctant convert in all England.\u201d Suchet is a member of The Church of England, but more importantly, he is an intentional Christian.<\/p>\n
