What if those are the seeds that are supposed to bear fruit in a <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-454\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/624\/2016\/08\/jimkastkeat_headshot_7-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"jimkastkeat_headshot_7\" width=\"254\" height=\"254\">whole life\u2019s devotion to God? The fruit, then, is the life of faithfulness.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a trail I run down this week with <a href=\"http:\/\/jimkastkeat.com\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim Kast-Keat<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/homebrewedchristianity.com\/2016\/08\/21\/hospitality-and-the-fruit-of-your-lips-with-jim-kast-keat-lectiocast\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the LectioCast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are several threads that run through this week\u2019s Lectionary texts, including the fact that God has great expectations for God\u2019s people. When God acts as deliverer the delivered should be ready to stand up as those who bring freedom and abundance to the people around them.
