We may feel pressured, stressed that we seem not to have accomplished what we set out to do this year. We may be discouraged that we have not invested this year as wisely as we hoped we would. We may feel overwhelmed at what we want to do in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n

For some of us, this is a larger challenge than just clearing our calendar of projects by the end of the year.<\/p>\n

People bring their problems to me. They tell me their stories and we work together to find their way forward.<\/p>\n

I cannot tell you the number of people who have come to me because they are dissatisfied. They have worked hard, done well, followed the rules they believe regulate their lives. Many of them\u00a0have done good work, and have done well as a result. They get to a certain point in their work lives\u00a0where\u00a0they are disappointed.<\/p>\n

They care about the people in their lives. They work hard to make a difference in the world. They come to a place where they question whether all their work is worth it.<\/p>\n

Again and again, they tell me about how they were told it would be satisfying, and they are not satisfied.<\/p>\n

We work together to see where they are and where they want to go. We work to remember what drew them in the first place, what ignites their deepest passion.<\/p>\n

We work hard to find their work that needs to be done.<\/p>\n
