There have been times when I was content to skim along the surface.<\/p>\n

It is not that I wanted to give up the Depth and all it offers, now and forever. It is more that the Depth can be so overwhelming, so all encompassing. The Depth is always with us, everywhere, all around us and within us.<\/p>\n

There was a long time when skimming along the surface was all I knew. Analyzing, thinking, intellectual effort was all I could see. I was mystified by the Depth and turned away from it, even from my own deepest self.<\/p>\n

I was a stranger, missing the vast potential of life. I was focused on finding uniquely correct answers, gaining uniquely approved qualifications, doing what was expected. I was missing the point.<\/p>\n

I held tightly onto my misconceptions. Gently and persistently, the Depth broke through my fear and insecurity. The Depth reassured me that its vast potential was there.<\/p>\n

I had worked so hard to understand, to grasp, to master the disciplines that I chose to follow. The Depth drew me in and showed me that life is so much more than I can control. The Depth flooded me with peace beyond my understanding, taught me that my reach exceeds what I can hold in my hands.\u00a0The Depth introduced me to the powerful joy of allowing disciplines to master me.<\/p>\n

The Depth offered me the opportunity to let go.<\/p>\n

As I began to recognize the tantalizing potential that the Depth had for me, my potential for appreciating the Depth grew and expanded. More and more possibilities sparked the deep potential within me.<\/p>\n

The deep potential is beneath the surface.<\/p>\n
