This one has a gorgeous \u201cpainterly\u201d style, even if it\u2019s a bit on the dark side, story-wise. Reminds me of the great Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Back\u2019s \u201cThe Man Who Planted Trees,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0in some ways. Except way more pessimistic. (Also, you need to watch through the credits, because the reference to the past in the short\u2019s description won\u2019t make any sense otherwise.)<\/p>\n A man, in the twilight of his life, is enjoying the sunset.
