Following on the heels of the Recovery & Rebuild Sigil<\/a> is the Endurance Sigil, which goes well with the aforementioned sigil. When the unexpected happens (such as a massive natural disaster like Hurricane Helene), one of the most difficult things is to be in a state of waiting and holding. It affects us emotionally, mentally, and physically to not know what\u2019s next or when or IF normal ever returns.<\/p>\n

The Endurance Sigil was crafted in a Sigil Witchery workshop at Magic On 70<\/a> in Hillsborough, North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham area) on Wednesday October 2nd. It was suggested by one of the attendees who had been in New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina is that one of the hardest things about being affected by a natural disaster is the waiting game \u2013 waiting for power, water, cleanup, supplies, repairs, etc \u2013 all the while trying to maintain sanity, resilience, and hope in the process.<\/p>\n

The Endurance sigil helps to address those needs for those existing in that liminal space, waiting to be able to really start moving forward again. It aids in bolstering resilience to help make it through to the other side.<\/p>\n
