President Obama\u2019s plans are to appoint<\/strong> 32 Czars within his administration<\/a>. These are people about whom Congress does not advise or consent, and about whom the press is conveniently incurious. So far, the press thinks they\u2019re all just brilliant and they have no problem with a president appointing 32 Czars<\/strong> accountable only to him.<\/p>\n Whadda you<\/em> think of that<\/a>? You comfortable knowing that these \u201cczars\u201d escape serious but are given some rather potent power with little oversight?<\/p>\n I mean, come on\u2026can you imagine if Bush had named 32 czars, while also \u201cshredding the constitution\u201d with all those policies Barack Obama is keeping place?<\/p>\n Can you imagine Bush naming almost three dozen czars while Michigan faced 15% unemployment<\/a>, the deficit was topping a trillion bucks<\/a> and a healthcare plan that no one who is being honest actually thinks<\/a> is anything but a mirage<\/a> was being shoved through congress<\/a>, unread and undebated? And while Would you<\/em>?<\/p>\n They\u2019re all interesting characters, so far as I can see. The energy czar hasn\u2019t bothered to read the Cap and Trade Bill<\/a>, but she\u2019s you know\u2026the Czar.<\/p>\n I don\u2019t like it much.<\/strong> I know we\u2019ve had a handful of \u201cczars\u201d in the past, but there has always been a sort of twinkly irony to the title \u2013 until now. Take a look at the damn list<\/a> and ask yourself how you feel about seeing the word \u201cczar\u201d used without irony, over and over again, in reference to an American administration.<\/p>\n An Information Czar? A Pay Czar? A Copyright Czar? A Great Lakes Czar? An Urban Affairs Czar? Oh, look\u2026a Terrorism\/WMD Czar!<\/p>\n You feel good about it?<\/strong> I don\u2019t. I see all those czars, and I know there are more where they came from, and that our nation is going to devolve into a sort of stagnant bureaucracy filled with connected elites on one side, handing out the goods, services and medicines, and the rest of us on the other side, putting our dreams away<\/a> as we stand in line, hoping we will get what we need, and dreading the news that no\u2026our sick grandmother<\/a> is not worth saving. No, that third pregnancy is not allowed; too hard on the planet<\/a>, based on these flawed<\/a> and fraudulent<\/a> and \u201cfundamentally wrong\u201d<\/a> and flim-flamming hoo-hah<\/a> and clearly \u201cunsettled\u201d sciences<\/a> and lies<\/a> that some have worked so diligently to sell<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kinda wants to get me down on my knees, praying to a merciful God who should long ago have lost patience with us, and has never much liked others playing God for themselves.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s start with a couple of prayer requests<\/strong>\u2026Please pray for 6 year old Ethan, who has just been diagnosed with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN) which is a rare genetic disorder. It does not matter to them that Ethan\u2019s life is the life he has; they would not like that life, and so they think he should not have his life, either. Plus he is taking up room on the planet and costing money for a life<\/a> that isn\u2019t going to be productive enough \u201cfor the people.\u201d<\/p>\n Do you know that there are people in the world who think a vibrant, beautiful 29 year old who has been given a poor prognosis should probably just be encouraged to take a few pills, lie down and die<\/a>. That \u201ceasier\u201d and \u201ckinder\u201d way is deemed by some to be more \u201csensible,\u201d because they do not understand the value, meaning and mystery<\/a> of suffering.<\/p>\n And heavens \u2013 they\u2019re all so smart<\/em> that if they<\/em> don\u2019t believe there is value or dignity to be found in our suffering<\/a>, then there mustn\u2019t be any!<\/p>\n The New York Times blares a headline<\/strong>, and they sound very excited, like Pravda announcing a new, glorious day: \u201cWhy We Must Ration Health Care\u201d<\/a>. That\u2019s going to translate into \u201cheathcare for Upper West Side Me and Mine, but not for Middle Class Yours and Thine\u201d sooner than any of us realize. Obamacare hasn\u2019t even been passed yet, but that\u2019s a mere formality. In the heads of the elite press-progressives, they\u2019re already there<\/a>, and the rest are already deciding whose life is worth it, and whose is not.<\/p>\n \u201cBi-polar and over 50? Fat, Anemic and over 60? Didn\u2019t go to Harvard and you have asthma? You\u2019re just a plumber, and you need a valve replacement? Please go to the Edward G. Humans \u2014 damn their imperfect hearts \u2014 could be corralled into virtue, and if corralling didn\u2019t work, killing would suffice.<\/p>\n Given the effort it takes to force humans to be perfect, all of these Statists, without exception, realized that some humans simply weren\u2019t worth the effort it would take to perfect them. They were in the way. How much better, then, simply to rid the world of them before they even became nascent. The was Margaret Sanger\u2019s plan. Hitler liked that idea too. Through a combination of genocide (Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, etc.) and sterilization (the generic \u201cunfit,\u201d although quite a few, my uncle included, came in for genocide too), he was acting with the best will in the world. How else, after all, could he make the world a better place for his good Germans?
