\u201cAnd the nails are put there so that when the bomb goes off, the nails will tear tissue and kill people in the area. Bombs don\u2019t kill by concussion. Small bombs, they kill by the blast effects of fragments of glass or metal, and this is designed to kill people.\u201d<\/p>\n

In case anyone was in doubt\u2026yes\u2026it\u2019s designed to kill people<\/strong>. Not soldiers, not \u201cwarriors,\u201d just people like you and me, going about their business, trying to do the best they can.<\/p>\n

You know\u2026after the 7\/7 attack on London, I related that I felt that although the attack was a truly awful thing, I also felt like perhaps something \u2013 a complacency \u2013 had been jarred, that out of this tragic circumstance, we might finally see real change happen. It does seem that changes are coming, in Europe and now in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

In the Gospel we read about the Angel and the healing waters at the pool of Bethsaida. The waters could bring healing\u2026but only AFTER they had been stirred.<\/p>\n
