Doug at Stones Cry Out<\/a> points to this article<\/a> describing Hillary Clinton as under attack for moving into her \u201ccentrist\u201d mode. He notes that the Kossacks and Moveon.org people are not actually the majority within the Democrat party, but they are the noisiest.<\/p>\n

He also writes, and I agree, that Hillary\u2019s big \u201cmove\u201d is nothing but posturing. As is, I believe, all this angst from the far-left. Complain all they want, they\u2019ll vote for her in \u201908, without even thinking about it, because they know she\u2019s playing a game. They\u2019re playing along, actually, and helping her to look \u201cmore\u201d centrist with their rants. They\u2019re sort of handing her a \u201cSistah Souljah Moment.\u201d Since they are not in the majority, they are also expendable. If only 1\/2 of the howling left votes for her, but she convinces others that she really is \u201cmoderate,\u201d she can win without them.<\/p>\n

Doug concludes that \u2013 as ever \u2013 there is not much substance to anything Hillary is saying. It\u2019s all just words. Mickey Kaus calls the Democrats and the press \u201ccheap dates,\u201d meaning Hillary has to do very little to get them to put out for her<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Everyone sees it all so clearly\u2026and yet somehow, she keeps on truckin\u2019.<\/p>\n

As I have said before, the scariest thing about Hillary is not Hillary. It\u2019s the obsequious press, trailing behind her, eyes glazed over in slack-jawed adoration. Enormous ambition served by an unquestioning press? Scary as all get-out.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
