Private Pay Shrinks to Historic Lows<\/a>. Hey, our newest car is nine years old. We\u2019d love to help out the automakers by buying something new, but between the taxes, the raise-freeze, increased costs and so forth, it\u2019s not happening this year.<\/p>\n

On the same subject, Ed Morrissey says<\/strong> that if we haven\u2019t figured it out before, now is a good time to understand that we\u2019re in serious trouble<\/a>, since Obama has decided to double down on the very disaster<\/a> he whines about inheriting.<\/p>\n

Chilling<\/a>. But don\u2019t worry, while your 401K is dying, the union pensions will be getting a bail out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If Obama makes us poor enough,<\/strong> will he redistribute the wealth of the union\/fed workers<\/a> back to the rest of us, privately employed, folk? That\u2019s sort of a new order of things<\/a>, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Free Enterprise vs Government Control<\/a><\/p>\n

This Sestak story<\/a> reminds me<\/strong> of the bungling, corrupt leadership<\/a> of Joseph Heller\u2019s Catch-22<\/em>. I don\u2019t think the story is going away<\/a> no matter how many times the WH investigates itself and finds that it always never said it would give Sestak a job<\/a>. Or at least there is \u201cno proof\u201d<\/a>. Kind of like \u201cno controlling legal authority.\u201d<\/p>\n

Go to Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day?<\/strong> Not me, I\u2019m just the Commander in Chief<\/a>. Obama seems profoundly bored by any aspect of the presidency that does not advance his domestic agenda. What does not bore him, inconveniences him, like the oil spill in the Gulf. This will be his second<\/em> \u201cgetaway\u201d since that happened, what, 35 days ago? And patriotic stuff like observing Memorial Day appears to both bore and inconvenience. <\/a><\/p>\n

I know, it\u2019s tiresome, but the thought goes round and round: just imagine if it were Bush.<\/p>\n
