I hope nobody minds if I re-post something from my blog from last week<\/a>.\u00a0 (In my defense, this is not so much shameless self-promotion as shameless scrambling for a post.)\u00a0 It just cracks me up, and maybe you nice folks would like to play along.<\/div>\n

WordPress<\/a> keeps track of all kinds of stats, including lists of phrases people searched for to end up at your blog.\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s like peeking into the collective unconscious of The Reader (and discovering that, as expected, The Reader is . . . not quite right in the head).\u00a0\u00a0 I saved some of my favorite search terms, and made this little ditty.\u00a0 It\u2019s called \u201cHamburger Washer Sleep Blog,\u201d and I believe it sums up my ouvre nicely:<\/p>\n

Nice, eh?\u00a0 Not a dry seat in the house.\u00a0 If you have a blog or website, why not make one of your own?\u00a0 They practically write themselves.\u00a0\u00a0 The only rule is that all the words must be direct quotes from actual search terms.\u00a0 Or if you want to add other words, the search terms must be clearly set apart with italics or quotation marks or something.\u00a0 In one week, I\u2019m going to host a linky list for these poems on my blog<\/a>, so please join me.\u00a0 Then<\/em> we\u2019ll see who\u2019s Abby Normal.<\/div>\n
