You found me!<\/strong> With a little help from my pals at First Things<\/strong><\/a>, who helped you get ported over! It\u2019s sort of like Star Trek; you\u2019re on your where to where you thought you were going and then suddenly, you\u2019re transported elsewhere!<\/p>\n

Fascinating!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Well, now that you\u2019re here,<\/strong> let\u2019s have a little fun, ala Chesterton!<\/p>\n

I think Chesterton had fun every time he picked up a pen, no matter how weighty the subject, but sometimes his wordplay is so imbued with a combination of wisdom and wit that it approaches the sublime!<\/p>\n

The man who is content to say \u201cWe do not want theologians splitting hairs,\u201d will doubtless be content to go on and say, \u201cWe do not want surgeons splitting filaments more delicate than hairs.\u201d It is the fact that many a man would be dead today, if his doctors had not debated the fine shades about doctoring. It is also the fact that European civilization would be dead today, if its doctors of divinity had not debated fine shades about doctrine.<\/em>

In this case<\/strong>, we\u2019ll have some serious-fun by trying something we\u2019ve done before around here: detailing What\u2019s Wrong With the World, in 100 words or less!<\/p>\n

Chesterton famously wrote a book called What\u2019s Wrong With the World<\/em>; while in the throes of writing it, he once scandalized a guest by arriving late to tea with the apology: \u201cI\u2019m very sorry; I was upstairs in my room, doing \u2018what\u2019s wrong\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Misunderstandings happen.<\/p>\n

Another time, when a British paper queried a variety of writers, Chesterton answered the question \u201cWhat\u2019s Wrong With the World\u201d quite succinctly and accurately:<\/p>\n
