They just want to sustain an illusion<\/a><\/p>\n At this point, I pretty much want to see O lose just to punish the press. They\u2019ve manufactured his candidacy (\u201cyou go sit down, Hillary, even though you\u2019re tied and you\u2019ve won all the big states\u201d) and now they\u2019re trying to manufacture his \u201cwin.\u201d Should they succeed, we\u2019ll be seeing the press become a monster unlike any seen in our history. \u201cDifferent parties, different rules,\u201d<\/a> indeed. The press needs to lose this election.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Thomas Sowell calls Obama Ego and Mouth<\/a> and he seems to be correct. Obama has not given a press conference since Septemeber\u2026but he\u2019ll give one \u201con Wednesday<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n As soon as the uncomfortable issues of associations, blunders and doublespeak because apparent re Obama, he stopped talking to the press.<\/p>\n And the press helped him get away with it by burying as much as it could, or by distracting the electorate by focusing on something else. For instance, why focus on Joe the Plumber\u2019s question and Barack\u2019s answer, when you can just destroy the plumber.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve said repeatedly that the press is going \u201call in\u201d on Obama because they see his presidency (and Pelosi\u2019s hard-hand) as their last chance to regain the monopoly they held on information and communications before the alternative media took hold. They believe they\u2019ll go back to being the \u201conly game in town,\u201d with the support of a president who clearly does not think dissent is the highest form of patriotism<\/a>.<\/p>\n Victor Davis Hanson writes this absolute must-read on the end of Journalism<\/a>: \u201c\u2026we have never quite seen anything like the current media infatuation with Barack Obama, and its collective desire not to raise key issues of concern to the American people.\u201d<\/em> Read the whole thing.<\/p>\n As Roger L. Simon said, \u201cit\u2019s not the bias, it\u2019s the lying\u201d<\/a>. Actually, it\u2019s the bias and the lying<\/a>\u2026and the plain-old covering up. The media has actively protected Obama by not reporting what it knows it should<\/a>. And they\u2019ve admitted they\u2019re doing it.<\/p>\n I\u2019m sorry. That sort of behavior should be punished, not rewarded. I\u2019ve never been more disgusted with the press.<\/p>\n On the other hand, I think a three-dimensional<\/a> John McCain is doing better than most polls will report<\/a>. Just a gut thing, I could be wrong.<\/p>\n And he killed<\/em> last night on SNL.<\/a><\/p>\n McCain\u2019s been counted out over and over again in this election, even in the primaries. If the voter fraud is massive, and it might be<\/a>, he may still eke something out . One never knows.<\/p>\n And oh, yeah, one more thing\u2026just something to think about while you\u2019re raking leaves or whatever?
