I blame Bush for that. When all of us \u201cknew\u201d that another shoe was going to drop, and another successful attack would be launched against us, Bush told us to go not allow the terrorists to keep us from living our lives as normal and then -can you believe the nerve- he kept us safe. So safe that this White House, which evidently would like it very much if we would forget 9\/11 ever happened, blundered hugely and brought it all back for us.<\/p>\n Because truth be told, many Americans had, feeling perfectly safe, had<\/em> forgotten<\/a>. Bad screw up, there, Mr. President. And coming at the end of the most perfect first hundred days<\/a> of any president, evah,<\/a> too!<\/p>\n \u201cWe are back in the game.\u201d<\/a><\/strong> Hillary speaks the truth, especially if \u201cgame\u201d actually means \u201cglobal tax flim-flam.\u201d<\/p>\n Yep, Cap & Trade? Tax Flim Flam<\/a>.<\/p>\n A Banking Scam?<\/strong> Suddenly Bank of America and Citigroup<\/a> \u201cmay need more capital.\u201d Wait\u2026didn\u2019t we just read about BofA\u2019s boffo first quarter?<\/a>.<\/p>\n I think we\u2019re being scammed. I think we\u2019re being scammed every which way. And I\u2019m starting to think we\u2019re just being crisis\u2019d to death<\/a> because misdirection is the illusionists stock-in-trade<\/em>. Get everyone hyperventilating<\/em> about the economy, or about AIG executives, or the need for trillions and trillions of dollars<\/em> being earmarked for the Federal Government, or about Rush Limbaugh, or greedy corporate jet-flyers, or about Swine Flu,<\/a> and suddenly, no one is thinking<\/em> about Fannie and Freddie, or Barney Frank and the way Congress precipitated<\/a> the housing bubble, the lending crisis and the recession with their policies and their refusals to heed warnings and make adjustments<\/a>. No one is talking, anymore, about questionable Freddie & Fannie bonuses<\/a>, or Obama\u2019s (and Pelosi\u2019s<\/a>) tortured<\/a> two-steps<\/a> over torture<\/a>, or Obama\u2019s reliance on the teleprompter<\/a> or the trojan horses<\/a> of taking over health care<\/a>, taking over General Motors<\/a>, taking over the banks<\/a>, or Barney Frank\u2019s baloney<\/a>. Suddenly no one who can actually do anything about it is talking about Bushian torture<\/a>.<\/p>\n We have had a very volatile 100 days,<\/strong> in each one of them President Obama -when he has been in the country- and his hive have buzzed our \u201cintensity\u201d buttons; if you look at the lists of \u201ccrises\u201d in the last paragraph, you\u2019ll note that they all come to abrupt ends, and are simply never mentioned again. Poof!<\/em> No more claims about the \u201ccatastrophic\u201d economy. No more rabble rousing about \u201cthose greedy AIG guys,\u201d until these ordinary businessmen feared for their lives<\/a> and safety<\/a>. No more Rush is ruining the nation<\/a><\/em> (although free speech is still going to be a battle, over time) no more demonizing people who fly corporate jets<\/a>, (especially when members of Congress (and other princes<\/a>) fly private all the time, and umm\u2026the White House flies Air Force One on Earth Day to make a speech or, ummmm for photo-ops).<\/p>\n President Obama is a \u201ccommunity organizer.\u201d<\/strong> It is all he has ever done, and it is all he knows. So, while the mediating intelligences in the Pravda-ized press, who have a vested interest in promoting him endlessly<\/a> in order to salvage their own credibility, \u201ccelebrate\u201d the glorious<\/a> first 100 days<\/a>, you and I are finally able to define what it is a \u201ccommunity organizer\u201d actually does<\/a>: He stirs the beehive into wild flight, in order to lift the honey<\/em>.<\/p>\n No Surprise:<\/strong> Dems have 60 votes<\/a>. When you can\u2019t be stopped, you betcha you can be as arrogant as you like<\/a>.
