Once again, thank you to all of you who sent me words of encouragement.\u00a0 I\u2019m happy that this blog is of interest to so many people.<\/p>\n

Now back to business!<\/p>\n

One of the things that I really benefit from as a member of the Association of Humanistic Rabbis is the collegiality of wonderful colleagues like Tamara Kolton, rabbi of the Birmingham Temple in suburban Detroit.\u00a0 When Prof. Richard Dawkins was on his most recent book tour, he stopped there and, in addition to delivering his lecture, he found time to interview Rabbi Kolton.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a wonderful conversation between two rationalists who both encourage critical thinking and reason in their disparate fields.\u00a0 Though I might have answered his questions a little differently, I love the poetry of her answers.\u00a0 Her congregation is very fortunate to have her.<\/p>\n
