\u2026 Fine. Maybe I am<\/em> participating in this particular novena with the intention of finding a husband after all, even though I swore off the idea of getting re-married about two or so years ago. And I was OK with that and never gave it a second thought. <\/p>\n

But that was before this\u2026<\/p>\n

Earlier this week I was talking with a work associate when he mentioned his upcoming vacation to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary. He shared with me the remarkable story of how they met. His wife was praying the Novena to St. Ann and to conclude the novena she attended a special mass at a local parish, not her own, where her future husband was a lector. If she hadn\u2019t gone to that church for that special mass honoring St. Ann they never would have met. <\/p>\n

They were married the following year on July 26th. <\/p>\n

Holy Saint\u2019s Intercession, Bat Man. <\/p>\n

So we know this novena is legit. Which can be a terrifying thought. Because this is me<\/em>. And my luck<\/em>. <\/p>\n

St. Ann, St. Ann, find me a man. <\/p>\n

*poof* Wish granted\u2026<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I have it on good authority that you cannot pray this novena for a specific man, say Nathan Fillion (you will<\/em> be mine!), but instead pray for God\u2019s will. Or as a friend of mine put it, \u201ctake what you can get.\u201d <\/p>\n

So here goes. Day three. <\/p>\n

St. Anne Novena, Day three<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beloved of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, mother of the Queen of Heaven, take us and all who are dear to us under your special care. Obtain for us the virtues you instilled in the heart of her who was destined to become Mother of God, and the graces with which you were endowed. O model of Christian womanhood, pray that we may imitate your example in our homes and families, listen to our petitions,<\/p>\n

(State your intention here.)<\/p>\n

Guardian of the infancy and childhood of the most Blessed Virgin Mary, obtain the graces necessary for all who enter the marriage state, that imitating your virtues they may sanctify their homes and lead the souls entrusted to their care to eternal glory. Amen.<\/p>\n

Pray for us, Saint Anne!<\/p>\n

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
