\u2026 It\u2019s the weekend, y\u2019all, and the Diocese\u2019s Eucharistic Congress is in full swing<\/a>. And I have to tell you, I\u2019ve really been looking forward to it this year because I\u2019ve been dying<\/em> to spend some time with \u201cmy own kind\u201d, if you know what I mean. <\/p>\n

I live in the rural south surrounded by *whispers* Protestants and I work with *whispers* Masons. <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also been going to the same church for four years now and two weeks ago was the 1st time someone actually stopped me to say \u201chi.\u201d <\/p>\n

If it weren\u2019t for the friends that live inside my computer I\u2019d have no one to talk to about religion or politics\u2026 all those forbidden topics that polite people shouldn\u2019t discuss. Good thing I\u2019m not polite. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s gotten so bad, this desire to with my own, that I was actually contemplating being an RCIA sponsor again. But then I remembered RCIA was the bane of my existence. <\/p>\n

So anyway, if you\u2019re in the Charlotte area and you want to do some mighty fine nun gazing, get your holy on, and have your faith invigorated by spending the weekend surrounded by papists, come check it out<\/a>. <\/p>\n
