Just this week I met a beautiful woman who just had a baby. She told me that as soon as she was able to go back to work she\u2019d feel more like she was contributing to the family \u2013 as if caring for her child was somehow not<\/em> contributing. <\/p>\n

Momma, you work! Trust me, you work. <\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re a mom who labors for a paycheck or not, if you have kids, you work. Period. Every mother is a \u201cworking\u201d mother. <\/p>\n

Stop being so hard on yourselves and judging your worth by whether or not you receive a paycheck. And if anyone tries to suggest otherwise the stink eye is the only response they deserve. <\/p>\n
