\u2026 sometimes, in the course of our existence, people come into our lives almost as suddenly as they exit it. The impact is dramatic and life changing no matter how brief the encounter. Eight years ago to this day such a person entered my life. <\/p>\n

This person left such an impression on my heart and changed me entirely without every uttering a single word. This person was my first son, William. <\/p>\n

He was born weighing less than a pound and four months premature; his skin had the translucent sheen of an angel. The rest is just too personal\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today I honor him and the time we had together; August 19, 20001 \u2013 August 21, 2001
