Wall Street, automakers, and even porn lined up for a bailout, why not Obama\u2019s inaugural committee? Perhaps it\u2019s all part of the \u201cSpend Our Way Out\u201d economic bailout stimulus plan. Whatever. Today it was reported that the American taxpayer will be picking up the bulk of the tab: $50 million<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Bush had to declare a state-of-emergency<\/a> just to appropriate more funds to cover the soaring cost of increased transportation and security. <\/p>\n

So much for \u201cWhat Would Lincoln Do\u201d?<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, the liberal media whores don\u2019t dish out the same scorn and disdain they spewed at Bush\u2019s $40 million inauguration celebration. In 2005 Good Morning America\u2019s Claire Shipman asked Laura Bush in a taped interview \u201cMany have wondered whether, given the war and all of our security challenges right now, it\u2019s appropriate to have a lavish and expensive inaugural celebration?\u201d<\/p>\n
