\u2026 truly, the season is marked with the appearance of Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog, made by Dairyland Distillers Co<\/a>. Short of making your own or buying a commercial brand and spiking the hell out of it, Pennsylvania Dutch is by far the best manufactured brand I\u2019ve ever tasted \u2013 and I\u2019ve tried them all. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m anticipating Catholic Drinkies<\/a> post on holiday spirits. Until then I guess we\u2019ll have to amuse ourselves with eggnog recipes and favorite holiday brews, wines and cocktails. <\/p>\n

I\u2019ll go first. Duplin Winery<\/a>, here in North Carolina, offers a nice sweet Christmas Wine<\/a> made with muscadine grapes and spices that I am rather fond of. <\/p>\n
