\u2026 One my favorite things about the Christmas season is the cards. I love sending as much as I love receiving them, especially since I never get real mail anymore. Just bills and adverts. As you sit down at the table with your family filling out cards why not include an extra card for the Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign. The Red Cross sends Christmas cards to military troops every year through this program. <\/p>\n

Each year the American Red Cross provides assistance to more than 2 million service members and many of our nation\u2019s 24 million veterans. We support military families, military and veterans hospitals and provide emergency communications across the globe. And once a year, we get the joy of delivering holiday cards to veterans, military families and active-duty service members at hospitals and installations around the world.<\/p>\n

The cards and personal messages, sent by tens of thousands of Americans, provide a welcome \u201ctouch of home\u201d for our troops during the holiday season.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
