\u2026 Last year I wrote that Planned Parenthood might want to reconsider their use of the phrase \u201cpro-choice\u201d<\/a> because, well, they aren\u2019t. It took them a few decades to catch up with what the rest of us already realized and have decided to stop identifying themselves as \u201cpro-choice\u201d<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens said the word \u201cchoice\u201d itself might be causing problems. \u201cWhen \u2018choice\u2019 got assigned,\u201d she explained, \u201cwomen didn\u2019t have as many choices\u201d in any area of their lives. Now that women have more rights and freedoms, she said, maybe \u201c\u2018choice\u2019 as word sounds frivolous. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cFrivolous\u201d is not how I would describe it. \u201cIntentionally deceptive\u201d is more accurate. But we\u2019ve already established Planned Parenthood has trouble with words and their meanings. Here\u2019s a thought, Planned Parenthood, embrace your love of abortion and just go with the phrase \u201cpro-abortion\u201d. Pro-abortion is the perfect label for them to adapt, at least it\u2019s the most honest. <\/p>\n
