Last Saturday (8\/21) I appeared on CNN\u2019s Weekend program to talk about President Obama\u2019s spiritual life and a 2004 interview I conducted with the then-Illinois State senator about his faith, which remains the most in-depth and exhaustive Obama has given to date on the subject. My appearance on CNN was about seven minutes long. CNN has posted a five-minute clip of the appearance, which hits most of the high points.<\/p>\n
