Christian witch sows consternation among True Believers™

Christian witch sows consternation among True Believers™ October 20, 2018

I’ve noticed a plethora of reports about the growth of witchcraft in the US recently.

For example, a recent Christian Post report revealed:

The population of self-identified witches has risen dramatically in the United States in recent decades, as interest in astrology and witchcraft practices have become increasingly mainstreamed.

Then it was widely reported that a coven of witches were planning to ‘hex’ US Supreme Court judge Brett Kavanaugh in the New York.

The Christian Post returned to witches yesterday when it carried a report about Kaisi (aka Rev Valerie Love), who describes herself as a practicing Christian and an ordained “minister of spiritual consciousness”

Love, above, broke from the Jehovah’s Witnesses at the age of 30 – she said was a member of the “cult” from the age of four –  but now runs the  Covenant of Christian Witches Mystery School in Salem, Massachusetts. The school, according Love’s website, was launched to:

Inspire, teach, share wisdom, and support magickal beings in owning and embracing magick, practicing magick and utilizing magick as a path to SELF-REALIZATION.

She says in a recent Facebook video:

My job as a minister of the living God, as an ordained minister of spiritual consciousness is freedom, to set us free … People are in religious bondage because religion told you what to think, what to do. I’m not here to tell you what to think. I’m here to support you in how to think.

On her Enlightenment Circle website, Love also offers coaching programmes ranging in price from $5,000 to $50,000.

Jennifer LeClaire, founder of Jennifer LeClaire Ministries and Director at the Awakening House of Prayer in Florida who has been tracking the Christian witches movement for several years, has warned that the mixing of witchcraft and Christianity is “dangerous” and said the movement is growing.

In this season, I’ve seen a rise of Christians practicing witchcraft. Or maybe they aren’t Christians at all. I won’t judge someone’s salvation, but when people in church release word curses, pray against you, and conduct unholy fasts to destroy you, the fruit of the Spirit is clearly lacking. Galatians 6 lists both the fruit of the Spirit and the works of the flesh. Witchcraft is among them. But there is a higher level of witchcraft that some so-called Christians are tapping into and it’s dangerous.

Christian experts at Got Questions Ministries also warned that:

God takes witchcraft very seriously. The penalty for practicing witchcraft under the Mosaic Law was death (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27). First Chronicles 10:13 tells us that ‘Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the Word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance.

The ministry explained:

At the heart of witchcraft is the desire to know the future and control events that are not ours to control. Those abilities belong only to the Lord. This desire has its roots in Satan’s first temptation to Eve: ‘You can be like God’ (Genesis 3:5).

Since the Garden of Eden, Satan’s major focus has been to divert human hearts away from worship of the true God (Genesis 3:1). He entices humans with the suggestions of power, self-realization, and spiritual enlightenment apart from submission to the Lord God. Witchcraft is merely another branch of that enticement. To become involved in witchcraft in any way is to enter Satan’s realm.

    > God takes witchcraft very seriously.

Witches exist. Gods? Not so much.

LMFAO. SOOOOO much of modern xtian inanity was stolen outright from ‘pagans’. EVERY one of their ‘holy days’ was hijacked from somebody else. LMFAO.

That lot say the same thing about birth control, washing machines, powered flight, non-religious medicine, democracy, germ theory, and probably anything else that gives anyone more control over their lives than the religious reactionaries want us to have.

Free will is God’s greatest gift to mankind. Until we use it, of course. Then it’s Satan’s problem.

Cue all those Wingnuts sending out intercessory curses – what? No True Christian™ you say? Because – well – reasons?
Any wonder religion is evaporating in the west.

Fret ye not. I read this morning that a “Catholic Exorcist” is praying for Kavanaugh, so nothing can touch him:

    Praise the Lord!

“Imprecatory Prayers” they call them. We’ve come across quite prominent American religious leaders before who’ve advocated such “action” (if you can call it that!).

They all “know” what God thinks. How amazing.

Wowsers. She jumped from one cult to another. At least she’s making money from her blasphemy. Until there is hell to pay.

Jehovah’s Witnesses (JWs) predicted the end of the world, IN WRITING, numerous times. Not once did they come true. They truly are known for their ‘False Predictions’ the world over.

JWs are taught that they alone are TRUE Christians and that all other people not JW will soon be destroyed. This is no exaggeration.

JWs will allow their own children TO DIE rather than accept a life saving blood transfusion even in severe medical emergencies. It has already happened THOUSANDS of times!

Just like this mother died unnecessarily! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/shropshire/7078455.stm

    Two recently in Canada! http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42002996

Or this teenager that also DIED: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/west_midlands/8690785.stm

This pregnant JW and her baby died.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3027599/Jehovah-s-Witness-baby-die-refuses-blood-transfusion-seven-months-pregnant-cancer-80-chance-surviving-treatment.html

JW’s NEEDLESSLY die for this sorry blood policy today.

From the same organization that has an entire 100 + year history of similar bad and embarrasing policies.

As a 15 year active JW (and an elder) here is my own story: http://www.bibletoday.com/archive/JW_Disassociation_letter_by_Vinny.htm#.W0E7_K2ZMVc

JWs used to forbid Vaccinations and Organ Transplants (calling a life saving transplant “Cannibalism”) for a combined 33 years.

This JW elder refused a kidney transplant and DIED only to have JWs say transplants are now OK 2 years later. http://ajwrb.org/debbie-shards-story

JWs enforce extreme shunning for any JW that decides to leave their religion or who commits a sin without showing enough repentance in front of the elders.

I have literally seen parents cut off all ties with their children solely because the kid did not want to remain a JW but went in another direction.

Even the ex-JWs who leave the religion on their own, who are 100 percent truthful, sincere, love God, pay taxes, help others and more are still SHUNNED by all current JWs and marked as godless, proud, sinning apostates. The Awake magazine recently called them “mentally diseased”.

And MANY contemplate suicide because the penalties of losing everything are simply TOO MUCH TO TAKE.

But an honest question is: Why do so many JWs leave after being one time followers?

As I eventually found out, the JW religion did say, IN WRITING, that the end would come in 1914 and then again in 1925. Was Jehovah directing all that? 1914 and 1925 came and went! They were proven false predictions. Period.

They also said the end very likely would happen in 1975 and even commended (in the watchtower) witnesses for selling their houses and pioneering because of it.

    But 1975 came and went!

They also said (for many decades) that the end would come before the generation born in 1914 passed away. In fact up until 1995 it was written inside each Awake magazine cover. Only they then had to change that meaning as well (including the Awake masthead) because that generation CAME AND WENT TOO.

I was an active JW (and elder) for 15 years before leaving because of the blood and fractions policy 10 yrs ago. Today I’m shunned by all JWs simply because I left the religion.

Most JWs simply accept everything the Watchtower teaches and says as “food from God”. Just like I did.

Most believe God has chosen the Watchtower Society as his “channel”, which provides food from God Himself to their religion and ONLY their religion.

But an honest look at the facts of the JW religion shows God has not chosen the WT for anything!

    Take a LOOK: http://www.freeminds.org/history/part2.htm

ALL FROM THEIR OWN LITERATURE WITH DATES & PAGES TO SEE FOR YOURSELVES!!!

Pages and pages of mistakes, embarrassments, false predictions, medical disasters, weird science, doctrinal failures and more for over 100 years now!

Obviously ‘GOD’ would not get things wrong like this. Obviously ‘GOD’ did not provide bad food like that for their entire history.

But most JWs have no idea about these things. They’re told to stay away from anything critical of their religion.

For example: Was God’s spirit with JWs when they said Organ Transplants were a “conscience matter” in 1961?

    OR,

Was God”s spirit with WT when they THEN SAID Organ Transplants are same as “Cannibalism” in 1967 and forbid them?

OR, was God’s spirit with the WT when they THEN SAID Organ Transplants are NOT the same as cannibalism in 1980 and now allow them?

Was God behind all those changes each time? Did ((GOD)) get all those things wrong each time? How many JWs like that elder above DIED by refusing kidney transplants, only later on to be told they’re OK to have now?

Which is why some end up taking their lives due to losing their family or feel compelled to speak out about it, like me right here and now.

And now because I walked away JWs are demanded to shun you for life (including your very own family).

Examine this religion and ask as many questions as you can!

    Vinny

barriejohn: Greetings my friend. I’m saddened by the new home of the Freethinker. Larger audience and a move ‘forward’ I’m sure, but I miss the intimacy of the old site and the daily posters who I grew to know over time. I’m also having trouble commenting here with disqus, not sure why. I have had a disqus account for a long time and use it on other sites, but having problems here.

Oh, BTW you left something out there, I believe it should read: “Praise the Lord, I love beer!”

  • Raging Bee

Whose toupee is that, Donald Trump’s or Boris Johnson’s? Not like either one is worthy to be worn by Hellboy…

  • DingoJack

Hee hee. The latter (of course. You wouldn’t expect Hellboy to associate himself with a snowflake like Drumpf, would you?)

  • Wade Spencer

Also why God smashed the Tower of Babel. He’s oddly afraid of humans having knowledge for an omnipotent being.

I am willing to wait until 2021 if need be, to impeach Kavanaugh- Hexes like Karma takes its OWN time…..
