So it is four days later since I wrote last.\u00a0 I have a couple of highlights that I think are worth mentioning, particularly about my marriage.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

What a wonderful wife I have that she would want to partner with me in this $2 experiment.\u00a0 I cannot tell you how much I love her\u2026.\u00a0 Ok, enough sap.\u00a0 Except to say that our anniversary last Thursday ended up being a great time to simply be together.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t need fancy gifts or fine dinning, all we need is each other.\u00a0 And that might be where many couples get it wrong.\u00a0 Think about the Bachelor.\u00a0 On this show, the couples get flown to Africa, New Zealand, and anywhere else that is cool.\u00a0 But what is the statistical probability that they will actually stay together after the final rose?\u00a0 Apparently not good.\u00a0 Only 3 couples have survived what is closing in on 20 seasons or so.\u00a0 Being together is much more important than flashy experiences.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Interestingly enough, my wife had a keen observation as we were cooking together in the kitchen the other day.\u00a0 \u201cWe are have sure been spending a lot more time together in the kitchen.\u201d\u00a0 Hhhhmmmm\u2026\u00a0 It is amazing how simplicity can actually bring families together.<\/p>\n
