When my mother got sick back in September<\/a>, she was wearing this little crystal pendant. Somewhere in the excitement, either when she fell, or somewhere in the EMT\/ambulance\/ER confusion, it got broken.<\/p>\n

I thought it just needed a little epoxy, but turns out there was a little bronze screw eye in the crystal itself that broke off. Maybe an expert with the right tools could replace that, but that wasn\u2019t an option. So I turned it into a wire wrap; a little wabi-sabi fixup aesthetic.<\/p>\n

I like how it speaks to how a thing can be remade \u2014 not just repaired, put back the way it was before, but transformed into something that is a result of what is was before, who it wasx broken, and a new vision.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
