target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">about the state of Christian rap is quite interesting and entertaining<\/a>.\u00a0 Stephen the Levite, the dude with a wild beard, has some thought-provoking comments in several places.\u00a0 Shai Linne shows his pastoral heart and theological bent.\u00a0 At around the 16-minute mark, Json thinks out loud about how to handle jealousy, specifically of gospel rappers like <a href=\"http:\/\/reachrecords.com\/artists\/show\/Lecrae\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Lecrae<\/a> (whose star has risen like crazy in the last year or two\u2013see his classic, window-shattering <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=CaTXRaSvq-M\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\u201cJesus Muzik\u201d<\/a>).\u00a0 A great discussion ensues\u2013an unusually honest one\u2013about how to handle jealousy, kill sin, and be glad for others who prosper.<\/p>\n<p>In general, this was a <em>very<\/em> encouraging conversation.\u00a0 It explodes the idea that Christian rappers don\u2019t care about doctrine and personal, Christocentric spirituality.\u00a0 I\u2019m thankful for these
