The above clip is one of the more horrifying things I\u2019ve seen caught on camera.\u00a0 In the 38-second video, pro-life Christians confront an abortionist.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know the circumstances of this conversation, but it is clearly a visceral encounter.<\/p>\n

In the course of the confrontation, the abortionist yells at the pro-lifers \u201cI as a taxpayer do not wish to pay for those babies to be born, and brought, and kill those people in Colorado.\u201d\u00a0 He then identifies the babies, saying \u201cLet me see you adopt one of those ugly black babies.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is jaw-dropping on several accounts.\u00a0 First, the abortionist, Ron Virmani<\/a>, has the race of the Aurora shooter entirely wrong.\u00a0 James Holmes is white.\u00a0 Second, the racism here takes your breath away.\u00a0 Third, you see the logic of abortion\u2013it\u2019s best to kill in order that others will not be killed (there\u2019s a major logic problem here).<\/p>\n

It shows how fallen our world is that something like this can\u2019t galvanize a nation and make it realize the terrible evil of abortion.\u00a0 As anything but a life-saving device, it\u2019s pure evil on its own terms.\u00a0 It also is a Trojan Horse for other sins, however, including racism.\u00a0 In other words, because abortion has been sold to\u2013and bought by\u2013upstanding America as a good and a right, racists can use it to exterminate children they hate.\u00a0 That\u2019s not some controversial claim on my part, by the way\u2013that was Margaret Sanger\u2019s stated intention in founding Planned Parenthood<\/a>, to exterminate black children, or \u201chuman weeds,\u201d as she so kindly said.<\/p>\n

And don\u2019t think that\u2019s not on the abortionist\u2019s mind as he crushes the skulls of little babies with forceps or administers drugs that leave them gasping and clawing for life before they perish.\u00a0 Racism is the great secret when it comes to abortion.\u00a0 The man in that video, yelling at Christians, thinks he is performing a righteous deed.\u00a0 He and others think that abortion is a noble cause, when it is in reality the scourge of our civilization.<\/p>\n

How videos like this\u2013and the confrontations faced by courageous pro-lifers like those in this outstanding Louisville ministry,<\/a> which my church (Kenwood Baptist) is involved with\u2013make us long for the spread of the gospel.\u00a0 It is the mission of God to welcome all the nations in Christ, not to murder them in the womb. As Christians contend for the gospel and a holistic culture of life\u2013from womb to grave\u2013we remember that we are fighting against principalities and powers that hate children.\u00a0 Keep fighting.\u00a0 And keep adopting, as so many of my friends and evangelical peers have.<\/p>\n

We love the little children.<\/p>\n

And Lord, come quickly.<\/p>\n
