<\/iframe><\/p>\nYesterday, I noted that <a href=\"http:\/\/thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/tgc\/2012\/09\/06\/lecraes-gravity-an-album-that-soars\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">I just reviewed rapper Lecrae\u2019s brand-new<\/a> Gravity<\/em>.\u00a0 Today, I wanted to link to the two songs I consider fresh to the point of heat-seeking.\u00a0 The first is \u201cFalling Down,\u201d produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheWatchmenLive\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Watchmen<\/a>, which includes a Boyce College student named <a href=\"http:\/\/stayonpost.com\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Alex Medina<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a staggering beat, gothic and weighty, and Lecrae and his guests tear it apart.<\/p>\nThe second is \u201cViolence,\u201d produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/ja.twitter.com\/TyshaneisElite\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the enigmatic Tyshane<\/a>, whom I have heard exactly nothing about.\u00a0 I was stunned by his beat for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jT2cSvZIlRU\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\u201cBlack Rose\u201d<\/a> off of\u00a0Church Clothes <\/em>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.datpiff.com\/Lecrae-Church-Clothes-mixtape.348497.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">download it free here<\/a>), and now he\u2019s topped himself.<\/p>\nBoth \u201cViolence\u201d and \u201cFalling Down\u201d could be, in my judgment, hit songs for mega-rappers like Jay-Z or Kanye West.\u00a0 Yes, I mean that\u2013these tracks are not merely \u201cdisc-ready,\u201d but could be mainstream hits.<\/p>\n[soundcloud
