<\/iframe> \nIn a couple of weeks (February 15-17), I\u2019ll be speaking on \u201cRisking it All for Jesus as a Young Man or Woman\u201d<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefocusconference.org\/registration\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"> at the FOCUS conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina<\/a>. The theme of my talk is based on my <a href=\"http:\/\/riskygospelbook.com\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">new book\u00a0Risky Gospel<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\nIf you\u2019re in junior high or high school or have kids this age, you should come. (Today is the last day to get <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefocusconference.org\/registration\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the early-bird rate!<\/a>) Here\u2019s the event description:<\/p>\n<blockquote>FOCUS exists to aid local churches in producing disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ who will be radical in their faith and walk. This is accomplished through Christ-centered preaching that equips the next generation to know, love, and serve Christ.<\/em><\/p>\nEach year, the conference devotes its teaching to a truth that every believer must embrace if they are to live for the glory of God in the present and future. The theme for the 2014 conference is \u201cThe Mission.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefocusconference.org\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Visit the spiffy event website here.<\/a><\/p>\nI\u2019m excited to speak at this conference. Grammy-nominated rapper FLAME will be there, as will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefocusconference.org\/conference\/speakers\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">fellow speakers<\/a> Ian McConnell and Adam Bailie. Lexington Road, a killer Boyce College band, will lead the music at the event.
