<\/a>The formal announcement hasn\u2019t been made, but Deadline.com is reporting t<\/a>hat Darren Aronofsky (director of the dark, Oscar nominated Black Sawn) has signed Russell Crowe to play the iconic Biblical character Noah in his big budget adaptation of the story. Production is slated to begin in July.<\/p>\n
