If you\u2019ve been missing Middle-Earth, director Peter Jackson has something to make you miss it even more.<\/p>\n

He has just released the first trailer to \u201cThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,\u201d his highly anticipated return to the Shire and adventure.<\/p>\n

As Tolkien fans well know \u2013 and I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll get comments correcting any tiny details I mistake \u2013 \u201cThe Hobbit\u201d takes place before \u201cThe Lord of the Rings\u201d trilogy and features the \u201cthere and back again\u201d adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he joins a gaggle of dwarves on a quest to recover the gold from the dragon Smaug. The tone is much lighter than \u201cRings,\u201d although many of the characters are the same and hobbit feet are just as big and hairy.<\/p>\n
