He took his eyes off the Lord. He began to take account of the winds. He said \u201call nature\u2019s against me\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Christ then took Peter\u2019s hand, admonished him for his lack of faith, and brought back into the boat.<\/p>\n
And suddenly the winds died down<\/em>.<\/p>\n
Peter: Impetuous. Often lacking in faith. Thrice a denier.<\/p>\n
I am all too often just like Peter.<\/p>\n
Yet ultimately, Peter\u2019s faith, his belief, and his heart, won out.<\/p>\n
I can only pray that I\u2019ll continue to be just like Peter<\/em>.<\/p>\n
