And shadows enter their final throes,<\/p>\n

My voice has betrayed me \u2013<\/p>\n

Or is it that you no longer hear it?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve chased answers, but gathered only more questions.<\/p>\n

If there were lessons to be learned,<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve all been wasted.<\/p>\n

Yes, our wills have clashed,<\/p>\n

And each time I declared victory.<\/p>\n

Then surrounded myself with rotting treasures,<\/p>\n

Convinced that I\u2019d won.<\/p>\n

But as I stand here now,<\/p>\n

Shaken by my brokenness,<\/p>\n

Paralyzed by my fears,<\/p>\n

I see how far I am from knowing you,<\/p>\n

What will it take for our convergence?<\/p>\n

What steps must I trace to reach you?<\/p>\n

Is it enough if I remain here,<\/p>\n

And wait for you, in my loneliness,<\/p>\n

In this darkness?<\/p>\n

No, that can\u2019t be.<\/p>\n

So stir my heart to love,<\/p>\n

And carry me back into your light.<\/p>\n

Help me as I reach for your yoke,<\/p>\n

Let me feel once again your peace.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
