We are always free to choose.<\/p>\n

We can engage this world by leading with our anxieties, frustrations, fears, and despair, our hearts and our minds turned ever inward.<\/p>\n

Or we can work to empty ourselves, surrendering fully into that presence, that love, that envelops, bears down upon, and transforms our heavy burdens into freedom and light.<\/p>\n

So take this yoke upon you and find rest.<\/p>\n

Do not look forward to the changes and chances of this life with fear.<\/p>\n

Rather, look to them with full confidence that, as they arise, God to whom you belong will in his love enable you to profit by them.<\/p>\n

He has guided you thus far in life.<\/p>\n

Do you but hold fast to His dear hand, and He will lead you safely through all trials.<\/p>\n

Whenever you cannot stand, He will carry you lovingly in his arms.<\/p>\n

Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow.<\/p>\n

The same Eternal Father who takes care of you today will take care of you tomorrow, and every day of your life.<\/p>\n

Either He will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.<\/p>\n

Be at peace then, and put aside all useless thoughts, all vain dreads and all anxious imaginations.<\/p>\n
