<\/iframe><\/p>\nSo, I wrote last week about being called a (borderline) racist at Fuller Seminary because I questioned the sophistication of burgeoning <a href='https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/library\/pentecostal' target='_blank'>Pentecostalism<\/a> in the Global South.\u00a0 Well, I was happy to discover yesterday, via NPR, that saying \u201cThat\u2019s Racist!\u201d has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/monkeysee\/2011\/06\/27\/137451481\/thats-racist-how-a-serious-accusation-became-a-commonplace-quip\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">gone from a serious accusation to a commonplace quip<\/a>.<\/p>\nCheck out Neta Ulaby\u2019s report:<\/p>\n<blockquote>Fourteen-year-old Gus Rachels and his friends use it to call out people overly sensitive to race issues. Regina N. Bradley, who teaches classes in African American literature at Florida State University, says she thinks kids are using \u201cthat\u2019s racist,\u201d to establish that they\u2019re not \u2014 but even the college students she teaches get confused about the difference between race and race issues.
