Slacktivist<\/a> \u2013 Fred Clark manages to make the Left Behind <\/em>series interesting, and he is a witty mouthpiece for progressive Christianity.<\/p>\n

John Shore<\/a> \u2013 He receives letters that should make any homophobic Christian think twice, and he is an indefatigable ally of GLBT folks in the church.<\/p>\n

Media Decoder<\/a> \u2013 The fascinating compilation of media journalists from the New York Times<\/em>, including those featured in the excellent documentary, Page One<\/a>. \u00a0(<\/em>I also read, and loved, David Carr\u2019s Night of the Gun<\/a><\/em>, and asked if he\u2019s the new St. Augustine<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Storied Theology<\/a> \u2013 Fuller prof Daniel Kirk is a step the the right of me, but his posts on the Bible are thoughtful and deep. (I\u2019ll be posting about his new book<\/a> in January.)<\/p>\n

Scrolling though my Google Reader list, it\u2019s notable, and a bit sad, to see how many good bloggers haven\u2019t posted in a long, long time. \u00a0I attribute that, in part, to Facebook, because I see most of those people writing there a lot. \u00a0But Facebook updates have neither the length (aka, depth) or links that a blog post has. \u00a0Alas. \u00a0I hope some of them will resolve to blog again in 2012.<\/p>\n
