Leigh Bardugo, author of the Grisha Trilogy<\/a> (and cause of my Halloween costume<\/a>) is running a series of creativity sprints, starting at noon today. \u00a0The goal is to \u201cBegin as You Mean to Go On\u201d<\/a>\u00a0in the new year (she has a FAQ here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t necessarily mean, if you plan to clean your garage this year, that you\u2019ll go out and clean the whole thing, or even spend two hours on it, to really make a\u00a0good<\/em> start today. \u00a0Even spending\u00a0five minutes\u00a0<\/em>counts.<\/p>\n

Why? \u00a0Because now cleaning your garage is a thing you do!<\/p>\n

On January 2nd, you won\u2019t have to choose to \u00a0start<\/em> cleaning your garage, you\u2019ll just be\u00a0continuing<\/em> the work you already began (and get to take advantage of the Seinfeld Streak<\/a>).<\/p>\n
