I\u2019ve been travelling, so you\u2019ll have to wait until this afternoon for meaty new content, but, I had to share one quick thing. \u00a0While away, I went trawling through a going-out-of-business Borders, trying to find some quality, discounted books. \u00a0I didn\u2019t really succeed, in large part\u00a0because\u00a0terrible paranormal romances seem to have taken over all <\/em>the shelf space. \u00a0(Where are E. Nesbit and Edward Eager?) \u00a0It\u2019s terrible to see the spawn of Twilight <\/em>have taken over the YA section, but this is truly<\/em>\u00a0excessive:<\/p>\n

Now if only that were the nadir. \u00a0From \u2018Crafts\u2019 I headed over to \u2018Religion\u2019 and found this:<\/p>\n

And lest you think this is mere unlucky coincidence. \u00a0I checked the copyright date. \u00a0The book above came out in 2007. \u00a0Twilight<\/em>, with its nearly identical cove<\/a>r, came out in 2005 and hit #1 on the NYT bestseller list that year.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t believe the Times<\/em>\u00a0piece on whether Lewis would be upset by his legacy<\/a>\u00a0left this out!<\/p>\n
