I need to know what arguments you\u2019ve heard for god\u2019s existence. Which one, in particular, would you like to see me take a swing at?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That sounds like a job for\u2026\u00a0the religiously diverse, scrappy, mostly well behaved commentariat of Unequally Yoked!<\/em><\/p>\n

JT is accepting requests all weekend, but, since he hasn\u2019t described the project, I don\u2019t know exactly what he\u2019s after, so I recommend giving him the\u00a0best <\/em>arguments you\u2019ve heard. \u00a0If you\u2019ve already got a totally satisfactory answer to some of the dumber approaches (like, oh, the\u00a0argument from radical skepticism<\/a> that I got pitched on at Reason Rally), you won\u2019t need JT to write up the bleedin\u2019 obvious. \u00a0The atheist blogosphere spends a lot of time addressing the\u00a0most common<\/em> arguments, which are not necessarily the\u00a0most challenging<\/em> ones.<\/p>\n

So pop on over to JT\u2019s and tell him the argument you found hardest to rebut or kept bothering you after the debate was over. \u00a0It doesn\u2019t have to be a knockdown proof of god, just something that made you shift your confidence level a bit. \u00a0I assume Christians can place requests, too, but keep in mind that the apologetics that Christians find most compelling are not necessarily those that make atheists sweat.<\/p>\n

And feel free to crosspost your comments here. \u00a0I\u2019d be interested to see what you guys come up with. \u00a0(I\u2019m not sure what to contribute, yet, since a number of my problems are rooted in a neo-Platonist view of morality, which I don\u2019t think JT shares).<\/p>\n

Also: remember when I was\u00a0discussing Edward Feser\u2019s\u00a0The Last Superstition<\/em><\/a> with some Dominicans?\u00a0 The writer at\u00a0Somewhat Abnormal<\/a> is blogging his way through some of the arguments, if people want to pick up that fight again.<\/p>\n
