This isn\u2019t an Andrew Sullivan game to guess where I live. \u00a0This is the reason I have no power or internet and probably won\u2019t until Monday. \u00a0So be extra-specially patient if your comments get stuck in the spam filter. \u00a0Also, please understand that even when my power comes back on, I won\u2019t be responding directly to emails and comments that ask things like \u201cWhy Catholicism of all religions?\u201d \u00a0I know everyone is interested in that question, so I\u2019ll eventually be posting on it here, but I can\u2019t start private dialogues with folks or my head will explode. \u00a0Merci!<\/p>\n

Also, just so you understand how slow the repairs will be, a dialogue with one of my housemates:<\/p>\n

Him: I think Pepco might really be trying to deal with this quickly. \u00a0They got a lot of criticism last summer for how slow they were to restore power.<\/p>\n
