I\u2019m keeping myself on track to finish my Halloween costume by posting updates every Monday. This week I\u2019ve transferred my pattern draft to tracing paper and then used it to cut out the pattern pieces for my muslin mockup. By next week\u2019s update, I\u2019ll have \u00a0pieced the muslin together and used it to make any corrections to the pattern (and hopefully start cutting the real fabric).<\/p>\n

How long did all this take? \u00a0About 125 minutes (the runtime of\u00a0Captain America<\/em>).<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not the only craft project this weekend. I ended up baking sourdough challah<\/a> for my housemates for Rosh Hashanah. (I learned how to do six-stranded braids here<\/a>).<\/p>\n
