Things I have attended at midnight this year:\u00a0The Hunger Games<\/em>,\u00a0The Avengers<\/em>,\u00a0The Dark Knight Rises<\/em>,\u00a0The Hobbit<\/em>, and Mass (the first time I\u2019ve ever attended Mass at Christmas, in fact). \u00a0But, today, one family tradition is unchanged by my conversion. \u00a0If it\u2019s Christmas, it\u2019s time for Chinese food and a movie. \u00a0And I hope I don\u2019t have to tell any of you which movie it\u2019s going to be.<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, I was feeling a little crestfallen that I didn\u2019t have any friends who were likely to invite me to join a\u00a0Les Mis<\/em> flashmob in the run up to the film\u2019s release. \u00a0But then I remembered the wise words of Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson:<\/p>\n
