Nancy French grew up in Paris, Tennessee \u2013 home of the World\u2019s Biggest Fish Fry \u2013 but has since lived in Center City Philadelphia and the Gramercy Park area of Manhattan.<\/p>\n

She began her writing career as a Philadelphia City Paper columnist tackling many subjects with a light, humorous touch; her articles have appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, The New York Sun, Newsmax, the Philadelphia Daily News, and National Review Online. An alumna of David Lipscomb University and New York University, Nancy now has moved back south, but this time to Columbia, Tennessee \u2013 the Mule Capital of the World \u2013 where she lives with her husband, writing partner, and co-conspirator David French, and their three children.<\/p>\n

She is the author of the new book\u00a0Home and Away: A Story of Family in a Time of War<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0Red State of Mind: How a Catfish Queen Reject Became a Liberty Belle<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0Recently, she collaborated with Bristol Palin on her new memoir, the New York Times best-selling\u00a0Not Afraid of Life<\/strong><\/a>. Nancy is the editor of\u00a0SixSeeds.tv<\/a>, a pop culture-focused magazine for parents, as well as a columnist and speaker.<\/p>\n

David and Nancy have two daughters (ages 12 and 3) and a son (age 10). They live in Columbia, Tennessee.<\/p>\n
