Having observed myself now for 33 years there are some things I do know about what makes me happier and unhappier\u2026<\/p>\n

Things That Make Me Happy<\/h1>\n
A clear, bright, clutter-free space<\/p>\n
Being free to pursue spontaneous trips, visits, and activities<\/p>\n
Learning new things<\/p>\n
Getting out of the house at least once a day<\/p>\n
Helping people (even if it\u2019s as simple as showing them where something is in the grocery store)<\/p>\n
Bhajan group<\/p>\n
Feeling productive<\/p>\n

Things That Make Me Unhappy<\/h1>\n
Feeling out of control of our spending<\/p>\n
Having a set schedule<\/p>\n
Too many people depending on me<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Concrete Goals To Work On\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
1) Take the extra step<\/p>\n
2) Make a master list of activities to do to get out of the house and refer to it when I get cabin fever<\/p>\n
3) Work towards getting enough debt paid off for me to quit my job (again!) and work on my own schedule<\/p>\n
4) Find a volunteer opportunity that gets me out of the house but doesn\u2019t require the car<\/p>\n
5) Get back to bhajan group and book club<\/p>\n
6) Keeping up with Flylady<\/a><\/p>\n
7) Do gratitude exercises and practice stepping back to see my life in context<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
