I arrived at the Boundless Way rohatsu sesshin a bit late, during the first morning talk, and so I sat in the office next to the zendo only to discover that those rascals had selected the wild fox koan as the theme for the sesshin. The talk sections are about 15 minutes long and then there\u2019s teacher-student interaction bringing out the point. I made the briefest reference to mu as a \u201cone-syllable prayer\u201d in the spirit of the Cloud of Unknowing<\/i> \u2013 something we unpacked in a class here in the fall and also worked with at the Deep Spring sesshin. That seemed to be of the most interest to the practitioners.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
